Join us for creative classes at the Arnold Block. In addition to our popular yoga, dance, and martial arts classes, we are now offering creative art and craft classes for kids, adults, and groups. If you’re interested in learning to make something beautiful in a friendly setting with other like-minded folks, check these out!
Come and create a unique necklace while learning the process of Mosaic Art. Using ceramics and glass, you will make your own handmade wearable art. This class is for beginners or experienced artists. Students can choose to make a heart or a rectangular necklace pendant.

Mosaic Art for Kids!
Come learn about mosaics and make your very own work of art! Each kid will make their own mosaic art piece using pre-cut glass tiles and grout. Parents must be present for kids 6 and under but all are welcome to stay. Please dress kiddos in "work" clothes or bring a smock. There will be a break in the middle of class for snack time and play (and to let adhesive dry). Some snacks provided but please send kids with a snack/ lunch to eat or share. This class is on a week day so mainly aimed towards home-schooled children but all who are available are welcome.

Introduction to Mosaic Art
In this 2-day class, we will create an 8x8 Mosaic Artwork using various glass and ceramic tesserae. On Day-One we will learn about the tools, materials and basic process of mosaic art. Day-Two, we will grout. Students will leave with a completed wall hanging.
Simple patterns will be provided or students can bring a pattern idea to be approved by the instructor. A variety of colorful glass will be provided along with all other materials and tools.
