Introduction to Picassiette

  • Arnold Block, LLC 245 Main St Bethel, VT, 05032 United States (map)

Create a one of a kind mosaic art piece using the process of Picassiette, a mosaic technique that uses broken dishes for tile. The lovely patterns on the teacups and saucers of yesterday can stir up thoughts of our ancestors and their daily lives and when put together in new formations create a wonderfully whimsical look. This class will touch on the processes of mosaic art and students will leave with an 8”x8” hangable art piece to show off. This is a TWO DAY workshop.
